Together with artist Louis Rollinde I had the pleasure to create sculptures and a soundtrack for the inauguration of the Gallery ‚Michelle Rème‘ in Paris, specialised in old prints. We wanted to integrate the presence of old books presented in the gallery into our contribution. My part consisted of three ‚book towers‘ made out of different materials, and a collection of wooden books on which excerpts of texts in terra cotta were mounted. The motifs were inspired by cuneiform script boards and inscriptions associated with the origins of writing.
